Spelt bread now available

Tried baking spelt bread last week and got some great feedback from regular customers loving the nutty taste and all the healthy seeds. Spelt is an old traditional flour and can be a good alternative for those with a wheat intolerance. Come in and sample some this Thursday lunchtime at the café in the Health Park.

Is the spelt bread gulten free as well?

Spelt bread isn't gluten free but it has a much lower gluten content and can therefore be suitable for some people with an intolerance. More tasters next week if you'd like to try
